I won the Czech national final of the European Money Quiz (EMQ), a competition testing knowledge of finance, banking, and economics. This result earned me the chance to represent the Czech Republic in the European final, where I placed 5th out of more than 70,000 students across Europe.
The European Money Quiz is a Europe-wide financial literacy competition for students aged 13–15. It is organised by the European Banking Federation (EBF) and coordinated in the Czech Republic by the Czech Banking Association. The competition runs on the Kahoot! platform across three rounds: the classroom round, national round, and European final round, which brings together the winning pairs from every participating country in Brussels.

As the winner of the national round, I advanced to the European final, where the winning teams from participating European countries competed. Up against the best from across the continent, our team placed 5th.
Thanks to our result in the European Money Quiz, I got the chance to talk about the competition and financial literacy on television as well.
